Yenn Purkis (They/Them)

Author, Speaker, Autistic, ADHD & non-binary advocate.

Yenn will share an auto ethnographical presentation on their lived experiences and the experiences & needs of other neurodivergent and Queer people. Providing practical strategies for conference delegates around how they can support, include, understand & respect Autistic people who are trans and gender diverse.

Tanya Hicks (She/Her)

Founder and CEO of Neurodivergent Empowered and Sparkly Aliens Inc. Author, and global speaker.

Tanya invites us to rethink everything we've been taught about Autism, ADHD and behaviour. Drawing on lived experience, clinical practice, and current neuroscience - Tanya shares how trauma, sensory overload & nervous system dysregulation often mimic "challenging behaviour".

Emily Friedel (She/Her)

Ph.D. candidate, ADHD/puberty research Neurodiversity & participatory research proponent.

Emily's presentation (and research) will centre on how puberty may affect AFAB and AMAB individuals, with a focus on how it might be associated with changes in ADHD trait expression and mental health outcomes.

Michael Coles (He/Him)

Autistic advocate, Speaker, and the creator of The Deep Dive Podcast.

Drawing on lived experiences, Michael's presentation explores the dangers of Autistic burnout and sets about changing systemic issues with Autistics accessing and sustaining employment.

Rachel Fletcher (She/They)

AuDHD Speech Pathologist.

Rachel's presentation will explore the lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals in finding speech pathology support that is delivered in natural & sensory friendly environments. Research has shown that such environments promote communication, rapport, regulation & improved mental and physical wellbeing.

Catherine Lee (She/Her)

Director and Founder of Neurodiverse Safe Work Initiative.

Catherine will lead a presentation focusing on the traditional approaches to managing accommodations, the limitations of these and describe a more inclusive, proactive approach that employers can utilise to improve their business systems and culture to better accommodate workers who think and function differently.

Caitlin Hughes (She/They)

Multi-exceptional (Autistic, ADHD, Gifted) Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW).

As a published researcher & PhD candidate focused on Autistic mental health, Caitlin combines academic & personal insights to drive change. Their presentation will centre on lived experience & self-disclosure, particularly for allied health therapists and navigating professional stigma & institutional barriers.

Sarah Vortman (She/Her)

Autistic multidisciplinary visual artist, writer and PhD candidate.

Sarah's session shares insights from a recently published PhD study exploring the lived experience of receiving an autism diagnosis in adulthood, using arts-based auto ethnography as both method & expression.

Co-founders of Curious Me

Ange & Kaycee's presentation will invite attendees into the world of curiosity-led play, where neurodivergent children are not expected to conform - but are welcomed as they are. Drawing on lived experience as neurodivergent mothers, they'll explore how sensory-rich unstructured play foster regulation, emotional safety & genuine connection.

Neuroscientist, AuDHDer & host of adhd_mums Podcast.

Jane's keynote will unmask the quiet devastation of 'high-functioning' expectations in neurodivergent women. Drawing on systematic research, clinical insight, and lived experience, she will examine how the pressure to appear competent leads to diagnostic delays, internalised ableism, and profound burnout.

Tim Chan (He/Him)

Autism Advocate & Author

Tim will share his lived experiences & call to action: The nonspeaking autistic community, comprising of 33% of the total autistic population, has traditionally been discriminated & excluded due to their challenges in communication & daily functioning. Increased understanding will guide policy & practices in neuro-affirmation for this marginalised group.

Zoe Martin (She/Her)

AuDHD, PDA-er & Menopause Wellness Coach

Zoe Martin is the coach midlife women call when the wheels fall off. Neurodivergent, menopause-certified, and fiercely trauma-informed, she helps women ride the chaos of ADHD, perimenopause, and the great unmasking. Don't miss her presentation on day 2 of our conference, titled: The Midlife Storm - ADHD & Menopause: The Missing Conversation.

Grace Wilkins (She/Her)

Grace is an ADHDer OT with a Masters in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. She’s all about emotional regulation, executive functioning, self advocacy and helping neurodivergent minds thrive. She works at Forbes Care, where she supports neurodivergent kids, teens, and adults under the NDIS.

Teresa Smith (She/Her)

Teresa is a neurodivergent Speech Pathologist who also advocates strongly for her two neurodivergent children at school, in community and with the NDIS. She is about to launch a new paediatric Speech therapy service on the Sunshine Coast.

Emma is a neurodivergent teacher with a passion for supporting all students, irrespective of disability or socioeconomic status, to be the best they can be. Emma teaches in a rural school in Central Queensland.

Kylie Gallagher (She/Her)



Kylie is a neurodivergent parent with a degree in Counselling who is currently completing her MSWQ. She is quoted as saying "I’m always surprised by the opportunities to advocate for change. I’m even more surprised when there’s some movement as a result of advocating that makes the world a little more inclusive for the next person or people. If I could tell other parents 2 things it would be, your voice matters and I’m cheering for you."

Tahlia-Rose Vanissum (She/Her)

She is a proud Woppaburra woman with a disability, a carer, and Traditional Owner of the Keppel Islands in Queensland, Australia. She brings lived experience of family violence and is dedicated to confronting systemic discrimination affecting Indigenous peoples, especially women and people with disability. Tahlia-Rose has led work across government, community, and private sectors, advancing Indigenous rights, disability justice, governance, and social change. She chairs Sisters in Spirit Aboriginal Corporation, serves on the Canberra Institute of Technology Board, and is a Research Committee Member of the National Disability Research Partnership. She holds qualifications in criminology, governance, leadership, and human resources.

Laetitia Andrac (She/Her)

Award-winning entrepreneur, international speaker, and podcast host. Laetitia is the bestselling author of Light It: How to Trust Your Intuition and Build a Thriving Business. With over 15 years of experience in consulting, strategy, AI and innovation, she has worked with industry leaders like Deloitte and Telstra. Inspired by her journey as a neurodivergent parent, she co-founded Understanding Zoe, an AI-driven solution dedicated to supporting caregivers of neurodivergent children. Her passion is about creating a more neuroinclusive world, where everyone can thrive; whether in their homes, communities, or workplaces.

Selah Dimech (She/Her)

Selah Dimech is an occupational therapist and founder of Neuraffirm, an OT and Allied Health Assistant practice dedicated to neurodiversity-affirming support for adults. Her research on autistic family experiences has been published internationally, and she was awarded the Elspeth Pearson Award in 2024 for her contributions to the profession. She is passionate about creating tailored resources that work with neurodivergent brains, and shares insights and practical strategies through her growing social media platforms.

Vera Yeo (She/They)

Vera exemplifies the intersectional lived experience of being multiply-neurodivergent (AuDHD, PDA, gifted) & a member of minority communities (LGBT+, immigrant). As a senior Clinical Psychologist & board-approved supervisor in private practice, they specialise in neuro-affirming treatment of post-traumatic stress & complex trauma. Living at minority intersections brings unique & sometimes paradoxical needs, often making access to support and services challenging. Vera values authenticity & growth, sharing their ongoing journey of transforming a legacy of powerlessness into embodied freedom, joy, and connection.

Alana Cameron (She/Her)

Alana is a proudly neurodivergent (AuDHD) speech therapist and educator dedicated to neuroaffirming practice. She supports families and multidisciplinary teams throughout the diagnostic journey-collaborating closely with Paediatricians and other professionals to ensure accurate, compassionate assessments and follow-up care. Grounded in the belief that connection comes before communication, Alana helps create inclusive environments where neurodivergent individual can build authentic relationships, autonomy, and emotional safety. Her blend of clinical expertise, lived experience, and educational insight makes her a powerful advocate for communication as a tool for genuine human connection.
